How do I know if I need a UI/UX audit?
The clearest signals are users dropping off at a specific step, features that shipped but barely get used, or a product that's grown well past the structure it was originally designed around. Any one of those is worth a look; when two or three show up together, that's usually the point where guessing stops being a viable strategy and someone needs to actually map where the friction lives.
Can you work with our existing design system?
Working within an existing system is the default — adapting to it, tightening the gaps in it, or helping build one from scratch if none really exists yet. A DIFC-based team with strict brand guidelines needs a different approach than an early-stage startup still figuring out its visual language, and the audit adjusts to whichever situation is actually in front of it rather than imposing a template.
Do you test your designs with real users?
Usability checks and real feedback loops run throughout, not as a final rubber stamp before launch. Assumptions about how a specific screen should work get validated early, before a whole flow is built around a guess that turns out to be wrong — catching that in a five-minute test session costs far less than catching it after launch through a drop in conversions nobody can explain.
What if we don’t have a product team in-house?
That's a common starting point, not a blocker. Working directly with founders, project managers, or a development team fills the gap, and for teams that need it, acting as the product design function entirely is also on the table — the audit and the fixes that follow don't require an in-house design team to already exist.
How do handoffs to developers work?
Clean Figma files, written specs, and behavior notes for anything that isn't obvious from the visuals alone — hover states, edge cases, what happens when content is longer or shorter than the mockup assumed. Support continues into implementation specifically to catch the small gaps that tend to surface only once a developer is actually building the screen, not before.
