AI Visibility Services: Get Your Brand Named by ChatGPT, Perplexity & AI Overviews

avatar Toimi

Your buyers already ask AI who to hire. Google AI Overviews reach 2.5 billion people a month (Google I/O, May 2026). ChatGPT serves 1.2 billion users a week (OpenAI DevDay, September 2026). 45% of consumers have used an AI tool for a business recommendation, up from 6% a year earlier (BrightLocal, April 2026). If the answer doesn't name your company, the lead goes to a competitor. Your analytics never register the loss.

We make AI answers name you. We measure the share of answers that recommend your brand and grow it month over month. The result is a checkable number: "you appeared in 12% of answers, now 34%." We start with an audit — $590, 5–7 days, credited toward your first month. Minimum contract is 3 months — an honest measurement takes a series of runs.

We work best with companies that sell through their website — services, e-commerce, complex B2B. If buyers ask questions before they buy, some already ask AI.

What keeps you invisible in AI answers

Your next client asks AI — and hires your competitor.

Buyers ask ChatGPT and Perplexity "who builds custom software in Austin" or "best CRM consultants for manufacturing". AI names two or three companies. If you're not among them, the call goes to whoever was named. You never find out: the lead never touched your site or your analytics. No ad slot exists in that answer. Getting into the list takes systematic work. One-shot "AI optimization" doesn't work.

SEO works, and leads still shrink.

Rankings hold, the keyword map is covered, traffic slides. The cause sits outside the results page. Part of your buyers' questions now ends with an AI answer, and the click on your website never happens. Classic analytics reports "falling demand". Demand moved to a new surface — where a competitor already sits. 68% of Google searches end without a single click (SparkToro / Similarweb, June 2026).

You can't check the vendor.

The market is full of "GEO experts" — GEO means generative engine optimization, tuning a brand for AI answers. Most of them sell a pretty report built from a single run. One run proves nothing. AI answers drift between questions and sessions. The check is simple: ask for the prompt panel — a fixed list of buyer questions — and the run history with dates. One lucky screenshot instead is a lottery ticket.

Profiles, reviews and listings live their own life.

AI reads far more than your website: Google Business Profile, Yelp, G2, Reddit, industry directories. A stale profile, unanswered reviews, or duplicate listings cut your chances of a mention. The correlation is measured: brand mentions on third-party sites predict AI visibility several times stronger than backlinks — 0.66 against 0.22 (Ahrefs, May 2025). Without regular audits, you learn this after the fact.

Who we work with

Companies that depend on inbound leads.
Services, e-commerce, B2B — anywhere buyers compare suppliers before a call. An AI answer delivers a warm lead: the person already has a shortlist and is ready to buy. Such a lead converts better than a cold click. It arrives with an opinion already formed.
Brands with sinking traffic.
Rankings hold while visits and leads fall, and nobody knows where the buyers went. Part of your audience's questions is now answered by AI. We find those questions, look at who AI names, and get your brand back into the answers.
Teams with an SEO agency and no AI visibility.
Classic SEO and AI visibility overlap, but they are different jobs. Answer structure, markup, third-party platforms, and reviews need their own process and measurement. We work alongside your SEO team, never instead of it. The first months make the two channels reinforce each other.
Expensive niches with long deals.
Enterprise software, integrations, consulting — where the check is large and the buyer asks AI "who do you recommend" weeks before the call. The shortlist inside that answer decides everything. Getting into it beats chasing a competitor with ads for a year.
Those comparing vendors.
Comparing vendors? Start with the audit. It gives you the map: your share, the competitors in the answers, the plan. You pick the vendor in one call.
Who we don't work with.
Anyone waiting for a guaranteed "#1 in AI" — that guarantee does not exist, and we don't sell what doesn't exist. Anyone who wants results in two weeks — an honest measurement needs a series of runs, and a series needs time. Better to say no up front than to disappoint after the invoice.

How the first 90 days work

Month 1 — Foundation.
Audit. We build a panel of 30 prompts — the fixed questions your buyers actually ask. Wording comes from search suggestions, industry discussions, and your real inquiries — the panel mirrors live demand. We measure across four surfaces: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews / Gemini, Perplexity, and Microsoft Copilot. Then we record the zero point — your current share of answers plus verified AI-bot visits in your logs — documented: prompt list, run dates, answer dumps. All dynamics count against it. In parallel: technical work — schema markup such as FAQPage, clean headings, correct access for AI crawlers. Crawlers don't run JavaScript, so prices and facts must sit in plain HTML. By the end of the month you get a content plan built around the panel.
Month 2 — Content and platforms.
First content-answers go live: articles built for specific panel questions — structured, marked up, direct answer in the opening paragraphs. Every piece follows one shape: answer first, facts as lists, FAQPage markup — the shape AI reads most reliably. Placement matters: 44% of ChatGPT citations come from the first 30% of a page (Indig, February 2026). Platform work depends on your niche: Google Business Profile and Yelp for local, G2 and directories for B2B software, Reddit threads people actually read. We get them in order — uniform data, fresh descriptions, current status. The review strategy starts here — we ask real clients, answer existing reviews, respond to the negative ones. AI reads sentiment and repeats it. Measurement 1 compares the new numbers with the zero point.
Month 3 — Momentum and corrections.
We look at which prompts move and which stall. A stalled group signals a change of approach: different content, different platforms, different wording. Measurement 2 records what worked. We scale what works — more content under moving prompts, more activity on platforms that produce mentions. We drop what doesn't. Tactics follow the numbers. The month ends with a report — dynamics for every prompt, plan for the next quarter. You decide on continuing with facts in hand.

The first three months run in the same order for every client: foundation, content, momentum. No zero point — nothing to measure growth against. No foundation — content doesn't take hold. After month three the panel and the work adjust to your numbers.

Let’s chat

Honestly: seven principles we sign before the invoice

We never promise anyone "#1 in AI."
AI answers are assembled from dozens of sources and drift from session to session. Whoever promises the first place sells hope. We sell work: a prompt panel, a series of runs, measurable dynamics.
Momentum shows in 2–4 months.
We say this before you sign, not after the payment. Month one builds the foundation and the zero point; first movements show in months two and three. Whoever promises faster is measuring luck.
We sell a measurable share.
The result reads like this: "you were in 12% of answers, now 34%." Every number can be checked: a fixed prompt panel, dated runs, IP-verified bot visits in your logs. A single-run report is impossible under this methodology.
If there is no momentum, you will see it.
A flat share across two or three measurements is a signal to rebuild the panel or change the tactic, never a reason to "wait one more month." We show such periods honestly and say what we change. After month three, you decide with facts in hand.
How to tell an honest measurement from a fake one.
Four signs. A fixed prompt panel — the same questions month to month. A series of runs with dates, not one screenshot. The result in a "k of N" format — the share of answers where the brand appears. IP-verified bot visits in server logs. If a vendor can't show at least two of the four, they sell a pretty picture.
We will name who gets recommended instead of you.
The audit report lists several competitors occupying your slots in the answers. It is the most unpleasant page of the report and the most useful: you learn whose demand you can take and in which questions you lose today.
The method is tested on our own brand first.
We run the same panel on Toimi before recommending it to clients and publish what we measure in the blog. Our own visibility is the open case you can check.

Pricing

Minimum contract is 3 months. Shorter is not measurable: honest dynamics need a series of runs.

Audit · one-time, 5–7 days
Panel of 30 prompts, measurement across 4 surfaces (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews / Gemini, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot), verification of AI-bot visits in your logs, report: your share of answers, who gets recommended instead of you, the work plan. The fee is credited toward the first retainer month.
$590
Start · per month
Monthly measurement (30 prompts, 4 surfaces), 4 content-answers per month, schema markup, basic work with profiles and listings, monthly report with numbers.
$1,400
Business · per month
Panel of 60–100 prompts, 8 content-answers per month, review strategy, Google Business Profile and listings, mention monitoring, priority support, quarterly review with a project lead.
$2,350

How to choose a tier. The audit fits everyone: it produces the map — your share, the competitors, the plan. Start works for one product and one region: 30 prompts cover the demand. Business fits multiple brands, many regions, or a crowded niche: 60–100 prompts catch demand across directions. Unsure? Start with the audit.

What you get every month. A report with numbers: share of answers across the panel, dynamics per surface, verified AI-bot visits from your logs, delivered content-answers, plan for the next month. No "we did a lot of work" — only figures and a breakdown of the work.

What the price is made of. The retainer covers measurement, content, and platform work every month — the labor of an analyst, a content editor, and a technical specialist plus runs across four surfaces. The price is fixed for the contract.

Questions about AI visibility

1. How is AI visibility different from SEO?

SEO moves your site up in classic results, position by position. AI visibility — the industry calls it GEO, optimization for generative engines — wins brand mentions inside AI answers. The mechanics differ: an AI model assembles one ready answer from sources it can reach — websites, directories, reviews — instead of showing ten links. There is overlap: technical health, content structure, markup. The measurement, the prompt panel, and the work plan are their own. SEO isn't going anywhere — you still need positions and classic traffic. A site with SEO and without AI visibility loses a growing slice of demand. A detailed comparison lives in our GEO and AEO article; the classic SEO service is here.

2. How much does AI visibility cost?

The audit is $590, 5–7 days. Monthly work: the Start tier is $1,400 per month, Business is $2,350 per month. Minimum contract is 3 months. The audit fee is credited toward the first retainer month — effectively free for those who continue. The audit picks the right tier: it shows the demand volume before you commit.

3. How fast will we see results?

Month one is the audit, the zero point, technical fixes, and the content plan. Visible movement in the share of answers arrives in months two through four — we say this before signing. Anyone promising faster offers one lucky run instead of a series: answers drift between sessions, and one good answer means nothing. The first report comes after month one: specific competitor names and your zero point.

4. How do you measure results?

Four ways at once. The prompt panel: a fixed set of 30 typical buyer questions (60–100 on Business). A series of runs across four surfaces — ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews / Gemini, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot — at least 10 runs per measurement. A "position in AI" doesn't exist; the stable metric is the share of appearances (SparkToro, January 2026). IP-verified AI-bot visits in your server logs — we count only verified bots, since up to 82% of "AI bot" hits in raw logs are impersonators (Forrester, June 2026). Platform-side reports: "Generative AI" in Google Search Console, AI Performance in Bing Webmaster Tools. The result reads "was 12%, now 34%" with a breakdown per surface.

5. Which AI platforms do you cover?

Four: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews / Gemini, Perplexity, and Microsoft Copilot. Google AI Overviews reach 2.5 billion people a month (Google I/O, May 2026); ChatGPT serves 1.2 billion a week (OpenAI DevDay, September 2026). Together they cover the mainstream of US AI demand. Perplexity and Copilot add the research-heavy audience. We report each surface separately: source overlap between AI platforms measured at 9–13% (MOAB, 2025), so an average across them would hide the truth.

6. Can you guarantee a spot in the AI answer?

No. Answers are assembled from many sources and change between sessions; guaranteeing a specific wording is not honest. We guarantee an honest measurement, a documented methodology, and checkable numbers: prompt panel, run dates, IP verification of bot visits. If a vendor promises the first place in AI, they sell hope instead of work.

7. What are content-answers and why do they matter?

A content-answer is an article on your website built for one specific panel question. AI takes facts from sources that are reachable and readable: structured, marked up, direct answer to the question. We write such materials under your buyers' questions — 4 per month on Start, 8 on Business. Each content-answer closes its prompt and strengthens the brand's position in the answers. People read them too: the articles feed your blog and work for classic search. One job serves two channels.

8. What do you need from us?

Three things. Access to the website and server logs — without them we can't verify AI-bot visits. Asking real clients for reviews and answering existing ones. Approval of content-answers: we prepare the materials, you have the final word on publication. Count on a couple of hours a week on your side.
