People pages go stale faster than anything else on the site

Every corporate site has a page that lies, and it is usually the team page. Someone left in March, yet their photo is still there in November, with a title the company stopped using last year.

This matters more than it looks. Visitors check people pages to decide whether to make contact, journalists quote them, and candidates read them before an interview. An out-of-date roster reads as an out-of-date company. Search engines also treat author and leadership information as a signal of who stands behind the content.

The fix is structural. Model a person as a record, not as a block of text inside a page. Give the record a name, a role, a photo, a short biography, contacts the person agreed to publish, and links to what they have written. Then let every place that mentions them pull from that record: the leadership page, the article byline, the case study, the press kit. One edit updates all of them.

Departures need a rule agreed in advance. Some companies unpublish the record the day someone leaves. Others keep the biography and remove the contacts, because old articles still carry the byline. Both are defensible. Choosing neither is how a site ends up with a dead mailbox on a public page.

Add a review date to each record and put the list in front of whoever owns the site once a quarter. It takes twenty minutes. The alternative is a page that quietly loses credibility while nobody is responsible for it.

Consent is part of the record too, because a photograph published without asking is a complaint waiting to happen. Store the date the person agreed, and what they agreed to. It takes one field.

Treat the page as inventory. Someone owns it and someone checks it on a schedule, otherwise nobody does.

Order matters on the page itself. Put the people a visitor is likely to contact first, and say what each of them decides. A grid of faces with job titles answers nothing.

What distinguishes a corporate website for a Pasadena enterprise from a standard corporate site?

Pasadena corporate websites exist in a market shaped by institutional gravitas — Caltech, JPL, Parsons, Avery Dennison, East West Bank all operate with carefully developed corporate presences reflecting decades of institutional history and technical credibility. Your Pasadena corporate site competes for credibility in a community that values substance, heritage, and technical accuracy. Toimi builds corporate sites for Pasadena enterprises balancing executive professionalism with the engineering substance this market expects.

How does Toimi approach corporate websites for Pasadena companies serving multiple stakeholder audiences?

Pasadena companies typically address diverse stakeholders — engineering teams evaluating technical capabilities (substantial given Pasadena's engineering workforce), executives assessing strategic fit, investors monitoring performance, government and institutional partners (critical for engineering firms and research-adjacent companies), job candidates. We architect corporate sites with audience-aware content pathways appropriate to these sophisticated professional audiences.

What is the typical timeline and investment for a corporate website project for a Pasadena company?

Corporate websites for Pasadena enterprises span 8-16 weeks — discovery and strategy (2-3 weeks with significant stakeholder research), design (3-4 weeks), development (3-6 weeks), QA/launch (1-2 weeks). Scope varies: engineering firms need different depth than research institutions or financial services companies. Institutional clients often have longer review and approval cycles we build into project timelines.

Can Toimi build corporate websites integrating with enterprise platforms Pasadena companies rely on?

We integrate Pasadena corporate sites with Salesforce, Workday, Greenhouse, Okta, and enterprise platforms prevalent among local companies. For Pasadena engineering firms, we integrate with project management and proposal systems specific to engineering industries. For financial services clients (East West Bank ecosystem), we integrate with banking technology platforms appropriate to the sector. For research institution clients, we integrate with academic systems (student information systems, research administration platforms).

How does Toimi ensure a corporate website properly positions a Pasadena company against local competitors?

We begin with competitive audit — analyzing how Pasadena peers present themselves and identifying positioning white space. Your corporate site must differentiate from the well-established companies sharing your ZIP code (Parsons, Avery Dennison, and similar established brands have substantial brand equity). Our design team creates distinctive visual identities within the professional parameters Pasadena's institutional environment demands.

What accessibility and compliance standards does Toimi implement for Pasadena corporate sites?

We build to WCAG 2.1 AA standards minimum — critical for Pasadena companies subject to ADA requirements and California accessibility laws. For research institution and government contractor clients (common given JPL and Caltech proximity), we implement additional Section 508 compliance. We also handle CCPA privacy requirements and industry-specific regulations relevant to your Pasadena company's sector.

How does Toimi manage content strategy and migration for Pasadena enterprise corporate website projects?

Pasadena enterprises often have extensive content libraries reflecting decades of institutional history — technical documentation, capability descriptions, project portfolios, research publications, corporate history. We provide structured content auditing identifying what to migrate, consolidate, or retire. Our migration process preserves SEO equity through proper redirects and metadata handling. For institutional clients, we handle careful stakeholder review processes that academic and engineering organizations require.

What post-launch support does Toimi provide for Pasadena corporate websites?

Our enterprise support includes 24/7 uptime monitoring, security patching, performance optimization, content update assistance. Pasadena institutional clients particularly value long-term stability — we provide dedicated account managers, response times fixed in the service agreement, and quarterly strategic reviews. Our support scales with your needs — from basic maintenance to full managed services.
